James A. Kane
Jim
Kane has over 30 years experience in Strategic Counterintelligence (CI), Human Intelligence (HUMINT),
Military Special Operations, Counterterrorism,
and Combat Arms. Jim retired from the United
States Army as a Chief Warrant Officer 5 – the
highest technical grade in the U.S. Military. He
served in a variety of leadership assignments,
to include Special Agent in Charge (SAC)
positions in Europe and in the U.S. Jim
earned a Masters Degree in Business
Administration from Boston University, and is a
graduate of numerous Military Intelligence
professional courses, the FBI National Academy,
and is a CVSA® Certified Examiner.

Captain John Slater (Ret.)
John has a long and
distinguished career in law enforcement and retired as
the Commander of the Criminal Investigation Division for
the White County, AR, Sheriff’s Department. John’s
experiences span many aspects of law enforcement, to
include being nationally recognized as a motor vehicle
theft expert, as well as being a former Executive
Director for the National Foundation for Missing and
Exploited Adults. John is also a Certified Instructor in
many disciplines for the Arkansas Law
Enforcement Academy, including Interviewing and
Interrogation. John has the distinction of
having been deployed to Iraq by the NITV as a
Subject Matter Expert on the CVSA for the US
military. While serving as the Subject Matter
Expert, Capt. Slater also taught Certified
Examiners Courses on the CVSA for the Special
Forces personnel.

Dr.
Hugh Ridlehuber - Forensic Psychiatrist
Dr. Ridlehuber is a forensic psychiatrist and former
head of Forensic Services at Belmont Hospital, Belmont,
CA. Dr. Ridlehuber has been in practice for 30 years and
a practicing voice stress examiner utilizing the CVSA
since he graduated from the NITV's Certified Examiner's
Course in 1989. |

Professor James Chapman - Criminologist
Professor Chapman is Professor Emeritus, former Director
of the Criminal Justice Program, and the Forensic Crime
Laboratory at the State University of New York, Corning.
Prof. Chapman served from 1984-2000 as the Executive
Director of the Southern Tier Law Enforcement Academy
Zone 12, New York State. Prior to his career in
education he was in law enforcement and service in the
United States Marine Corps. Prof Chapman is a nationally
and internationally known expert in the services of the
Voice Stress Analysis (VSA). He has conducted VSA Testing
since 1971. Utilizing the CVSA from 1989, Prof. Chapman
has conducted extensive forensic interviews and
interrogations research utilizing Voice Stress Analysis
and has published his findings. Prof. Chapman is a
consultant to numerous local regional and federal law
enforcement and criminal justice agencies. |

Dr.
Thomas Joseph - Kirkwood Police Department (MO)
Dr. Joseph has over 20 years experience in
educational /service oriented work environments. He is a
veteran police detective and college instructor
specializing in criminology. Dr. Joseph is a practicing
Voice Stress Examiner utilizing the CVSA. |

Chief
William (Bill) Withers
Chief Withers has over 30 years in law enforcement
experience, serving 21 years with the Indianapolis,
Indiana P.D., working investigations, public safety and
on staff at the Training Academy before retiring in
1988. Currently the Chief of Police for the New
Whiteland, Indiana P.D., Chief Withers has been a voice
stress examiner since his graduation from the Certified
Examiners Course in 1998. |

Senior Instructor - Deputy/Commander Michael McQuillan
(Ret.)
Mike has over 31 years of LE Experience with the Prince George's County
Police Department (MD) where he retired as Commander of
their homicide division after earning a reputation as
one of the preeminent homicide investigators in the
United States. Mike's vast experience conducting CVSA
examinations, coupled with his teaching abilities in
other law enforcement disciplines (homicide
investigations, interviewing and interrogation, etc.),
has made him a tremendous asset to the NITV. Mike has
the distinction of being the instructor for many of the
Certified Examiners Courses that the NITV has conducted
for the US military’s Special Operations personnel on
the CVSA that have been deployed to Iraq. Mike also has
the distinction of being the Senior Instructor for the
Certified Examiners Courses that the NITV has conducted
for the FBI. Mike has
been a practicing voice stress examiner utilizing the CVSA since he graduated from the NITV's Certified
Examiner's Course in 1994.

Chief
William Frederick Endler (Ret.)
Chief Endler retired from the Elkhart P.D. (IN)
following 23 years of service and has held the position
of Chief of Police with two law enforcement agencies
prior to joining the staff of the NITV. His 30 years of
law enforcement and established reputation as both a
CVSA examiner and polygraph examiner make him a valuable
asset to the NITV. Chief Endler also has the
distinction of serving as a Subject Matter Expert on the
CVSA in Iraq for the NITV and the U.S. government where
he conducted CVSA examinations on many High Value
Detainees, receiving numerous letters of commendation
for his outstanding work. Bill has also conducted
Certified Examiners Courses on the CVSA for the FBI.
Chief Endler is a graduate of Indiana University.

Deputy Ben Conrique (Ret.)
Ben has served 20 years with the San Diego County
Sheriff's Department where
he developed an expertise in background investigations.
He graduated from
the Backster School of Lie Detection (Polygraph) in 1995
and graduated from
the NITV's CEC in 1998. Ben is currently a practicing
CVSA examiner and has
logged more than 3,500 pre-employment and criminal
examinations. Ben is
bilingual and conducts CVSA
examinations in both English and
Spanish. |

Chief
Howard Shook (Ret.)
Howard spent
over 30 years in the law enforcement community,
serving primarily with the Prince Georges County, MD,
Police Department. He has extensive experience in a
number of investigative disciplines, and specialized in
homicide investigations for many years of his career.
Howard has conducted hundreds of CVSA examinations
including homicide, internal affairs, and background
investigations, among others. Howard has also taught
several specialized investigative courses within the law
enforcement community during his career. Howard was
certified by the NITV as a CVSA examiner in 2002. |
