Recertification Schedule
During the
week of Jan. 7 – 11, 2008, the NITV conducted its Annual Advanced/Recertification
Course at the Hard Rock Resort and Casino in Hollywood, FL (yes, we all had
fun). For the second year in a row many examiners urged the NITV to
require Recertification every two years. The vast majority of
examiners feel that three years is simply not adequate to maintain
proficiency. After careful consideration we have decided and agreed to
change the Recertification requirement of CVSA examiners to every two years
with a 12-month grace period.
The NITV® will only recertify examiners who have completed a course taught by an NITV® Approved Instructor, regardless of the organization sponsoring the training. Approved NITV® Instructors are listed under 'Our Staff' on this website. |
